General Questions
Where are you located?
Conrad Sutton Jeep & Car Rental is located on King Street at 5BC Cruz Bay, St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, one block from the Ferry Docks in the heart of Cruz Bay.
What vehicles do you offer?
We offer 2-Door Jeep Wranglers, 4-Door Jeep Wranglers, premium 4-Door Jeep Wranglers, and standard SUVs (Toyota RAV4, Jeep Cherokee, or similar). All vehicles have 4-Wheel Drive and Automatic transmissions.
How can I pay for my rental?
A major credit card (Amex, VISA, or Mastercard) is required. Debit cards, check cards, and third-party credit cards are not accepted.
Do you charge for mileage?
No. Conrad Sutton Jeep & Car Rental does not charge for mileage. You can drive anywhere on St. John without mileage fees.
Do you offer free parking?
Yes. Free parking is available in our in-town Cruz Bay lot for Conrad Sutton Jeep & Car Rental vehicles only, subject to space availability.
Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes. We offer complimentary courtesy pickup and delivery for Conrad Sutton Jeep & Car Rental customers to and from The Westin Resort. All vehicles must be returned to our Cruz Bay location.
St. John Questions
What side of the road do you drive on in St. John?
In the U.S. Virgin Islands, traffic travels on the left side of the road. Vehicles are left-hand drive. This is something to keep in mind as you navigate the island, particularly at intersections and curves.
What is there to see in St. John?
St. John has has many beatiful National Park beaches, including Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Francis Bay, and Leinster Bay. Trunk Bay and Leinster Bay (Waterlemon Cay) have popular snorkeling trails. The Virgin Islands National Park also offers several hiking trails, including the Reef Bay Trail and Ram Head Trail.
Where can I stay in St. John?
Visitors stay throughout the island, from Cruz Bay boutique hotels to Coral Bay villas to resorts like The Westin on Great Cruz Bay. Conrad Sutton offers courtesy pickup and delivery to The Westin Resort for rental customers.
Policy Questions
What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?
All drivers must be at least 25 years of age at the time of the rental.
How much is the deposit to reserve a vehicle?
A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure a reservation. The deposit is applied toward the cost of your rental.
Can I take the vehicle to St. Thomas?
No. Vehicles may not be taken off the island of St. John.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Cancellations must be submitted by email to [email protected]. Customers must provide at least 3 weeks’ prior notice to avoid being charged the full rental amount. See our Reservation Policies page for complete details.
Are refunds issued for early returns or late arrivals?
No. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or early returns.
